Liara and Brook-Meant to Be

Hurray! I finally got a picture of these two up! I'm aware that it's not perfect. For instance, I know his suit is supposed to be darker; I attempted to layer a grey prismacolor marker but it didn't get darker for some reason so...ta-da? I'll buy a darker one for future pictures. Also, I know Liara's mouth isn't perfect. This was my second attempt at the picture and her lipstick color in the first one looked awful so I was trying to play safe this time around. I am proud of her hair though, as I was nervous about how I would make it look wavy without appearing ridiculous.

The butterflies in the background symbolize Liara, as butterflies are her favorite creatures. She likes how beautifully they fly, and how their wings can come in so many different designs and colors. The music notes obviously represent Brook. : ]

Also, I am aware that my writing in the top left corner should be bigger, so I am sorry for that. It reads "For it's plain, as anyone can see; we're simply meant to be." which is from the ending love song between Jack and Sally in Nightmare Before Christmas. I think those words suit this couple pretty well.
